New Jersey Coast

I recently visited the NJ coast on my birthday. It was a lovely day. In fact, I've learned any sunny day that reaches above 40 degrees at the beginning of February in New Jersey makes for a great day. Though I can't be certain, my estimation is that this photo was taken near Ocean Beach, NJ.

I've snapped hundreds of photos in the last month or so. I was roughly pleased with this one.

what kind of camera do you own? i'm in the market for a new one. the one i own now just breaks my heart time and again. i was spoiled by my last camera, which i dropped into the ocean within minutes of having told my daughters to be careful with their ten dollar disposable cameras.

i'm a loser.

I use a Sony CyberShot DSC-W90. I haven't been so impressed. Or maybe the lack of impression has come from disappointment in my own photography skills.

Either way, I'm the loser here. Maybe you can give me a brief tutorial on photography--we can just chock it up to a tyranny session.
